Gosh, time flies. The year 2022 is over, and 2023 is here. Another year has come and gone! And at least we could travel and do normalish stuff last year. I appreciate your support for those of you who have been here since last year or the year before, or the year before, or the year before, etc! 😊

It’s the time of the year again for some much-needed reflection and introspection to set the right tone for the new year!

I have been busy coming up with my goals for 2023, and I wanted to share the biggest ones with you.

My first goal for 2023

is to improve the Online Marketing Membership.

So when I decided to run a membership again, I wanted to create something that made sense business-wise, time-wise and really serves people well.

I wanted to create something where I feel that my input can enhance many small businesses and even offer personalised help for them, too, for a nominal price. And in the first two weeks of launching it, I only did a soft launch; 40something people jumped in. And it’s growing steadily.

It’s clear that this is a needed service, and I’m glad I priced it low, even when people told me it’s too cheap.

My second goal for 2023

is to spend less time on social media.

Thing is, sometimes I love social media, and sometimes I hate it. It can be a real time-sucker, and you don’t even realise it, and you spent 2 hours just replying to your DMs/comments, etc.

Whilst I will still go on social media, I’ll reduce my time. I actually started to do this already, which is why, for example, when I run something like a program or a challenge, I did it in a popup Fb group. but not anymore.

I use the Outstanding Female Entrepreneurs Fb group as the base, as I’ve already withdrawn from Instagram, TikTok and a long time ago, I neglected LinkedIn too. But all the ‘extra’ stuff is off social media.

And I’ll keep going on that path.

Don’t take me wrong; I love my group and the peeps in it, and to be fair, I only visit 2 groups when I open the app, and one of them is mine. So it’s not just because I enjoy being less on social media; it’s about being cautious too.

You know, I can reach my peeps in multiple ways – as this is really important as so many times Fb puts me into ‘jail’ and doesn’t let me comment…

My third goal for 2023

is to do more creative stuff, like painting, writing and drawing.

When I was a little kid, I was always doing stuff. When I wasn’t in training, running, kayaking or doing some form of sports, I was being creative.

I love creating stuff. I feel I didn’t really grow up, and all the stuff I loved when I was in my single-digit age bracket is still there.

It’s funny because I ignored those feelings and skills for so long, but after last year, I lost one of my best friends and couldn’t really find a way to cope with it; I started to engage in those activities again.

It was a kind of respite if you like.

And I did really enjoy them. But I started to put them aside because I felt guilty that I do stuff I enjoy and all fun, but I’m not making money with it, and I “waste my time” with them.

Of course, that’s BS, and I can do stuff just for pure enjoyment. Oh boy, I needed to work that through… And I still need to do it from time to time…

Hence, I’m putting this out because I want to do it.

And here we are now. 😊 There’s nothing like sharing your goals with a list of entrepreneur virtual friends to ensure I stay accountable and work towards completing my goals!

What about you?

What is your #1 goal for 2023? Let me know, or post in the OFE Fb group and let’s get the conversation going! It’s much better when more of us share our goals.

It really makes me happy to know more about your goals and desires.

Here’s to a productive 2023! 🥂🍻

Who am I?

I’m Viki Thorbjorn, an ex-athlete turned award-winning marketer. I’ve helped clients to go from making £9M in a year to over £20M in just 9 months. Or to save 6 figures in a client’s marketing budget whilst increasing their business growth by 270%. And just in 2021 alone I helped thousands of people with their business and gained hundreds of customers – will you be the next?

I worked with companies such as Avon, Jagermeister, LG, Suzuki, Ford, Microsoft Office, Drogerie Markt and Procter & Gamble and tons of smaller ones developing their marketing campaigns for around 20 years. I trained over 10,000 people over the years. And managed to keep my members usually for 3 – 4 years.
