If you don’t have at least 50% conversion rates on your offers, sales training won’t help. But I can tell you what you should pay attention to increase your sales, even if you genuinely need sales training.

So you’re sitting there and thinking about “what I could’ve done differently. Obviously, I’m not good at sales, and I need the training to be better at it“. “I need to buy courses, templates and scripts and attend sales training to create the perfect objection-handling, the sales-increasing mega-brilliant thing that converts everyone into a client.”

And off you go headfirst into coaching programmes and everything else you can think of to solve a problem. And that problem you want to solve is not the real problem.

I know it looks like you don’t have sales (or as many sales you want), and it would mean you need sales training. The funny thing is that this is what many entrepreneurs and even big corporates think.

To overcome this annoying phase with fluctuating sales and low conversion rates after all the previously purchased things failed you, you should showcase your offer to tell your prospects exactly what they’ll get and how.

Yes, the real problem is that people don’t know what you actually sell. They might don’t understand how your offer could help them.

You might don’t detail your offer enough to make it abundantly clear why it’s your thing is the thing that can solve their issue.

And if this is true, they might don’t even believe that you’re capable of delivering what you say you do. Or they might think it wouldn’t work for them. Or they don’t see the value in your offer. And if it happens a lot, you might lose some confidence in yourself, and things can worsen.

This is what you risk, and that’s why you don’t have the sales you need/want. This is why you’re not confident raising your prices because you get far too many objections or nos.

It is not a sales problem; it’s a communication issue.

You don’t need to convince prospects because they pre-select themselves and decide about the sign up much before they contact you. Yes, this means a much shorter time to sign-up a client.
