How to know if a money-making programme is for you

"I tried scaling/growing/money-making/etc. programmes like yours before, and it didn't work."

1 – create content for many social media channels – pointing, dancing, writing, speaking, well, about 4 pieces a day for every platform…

2 – spend ages, like hours and hours, watching the training materials and never-ending live coaching sessions

3 – dm people and pitch them – ok, first, like 2 of their posts, comment on one and if they have a story, definitely comment on them because you’re in their DMS! Easy.

4 – pitch yourself to do guest posts and appear on podcasts – never mind about what, just do it; your name needs to be well-known to grow an empire

5 – do 60 free discovery calls – you want to build your connections, and a few might become clients, eigh?

6 – spend ages in groups to give values – ugh, this is difficult because what value can you add if you don’t post? You need to hunt for value-adding opportunities. Especially in groups where you need to pay to be able to post and promote yourself

7 – build funnels and lead magnets – well, that’s useful, but do you need this to get high-ticket clients? Or if it does, when you should invest in it?

8 – do many different things simultaneously, or things you don’t feel aligned with – yeah, let’s do live videos every week because those are great, never mind if you hate it…

9 – trust in attraction marketing, a.k.a. post, and they’ll come – sure… if you don’t know anything else, what do you think about how long it’ll take to get clients? Oh yeah, you need spot-on content for that…

And the list goes on…

While I certainly would never knock other systems and programmes because I think there’s a place for all of them, I can tell you why programmes like those miss the mark.

1 – these are overwhelming

2 – these are not sustainable

3 – don’t take into consideration you, your personality and your willingness

4 – time-consuming and doesn’t help you stand out

Here are a few quick things you should be doing instead

Look at your business, industry, and offer to understand why people buy from you and leverage buyer psychology to sign more clients.

Find the unique essence of your offer that’ll put you above all similar offers to attract and impress your (prospective) clients.

And after that, do the math and your pricing to make sure your business can reach a very nice and comfortable high-profit margin revenue (a.k.a. your ambitious income goal) without working every hour under the sun.

Yes, this means you’ll brainstorm ways to increase the value of your offer or reduce delivery time.

And only after this, when you have your unique method and essence in hand, you’ll be able to utilise attraction marketing, podcasts, collaborations or referrals as you’ll put together a compelling reason about “why you”.

And after that, you need to find the best ways to grow your audience by checking on your existing results, resources & your personality.

And put together a simple system & process that’ll help you increase your sales conversion & referral rate.

The next is to pinpoint your crystal clear & concise message & craft a few viral & engagement posts by leveraging buyer psychology to get the leads coming in.

Afterwards, you need to optimise your sales process to increase your conversion rate to enjoy better results with less work.

And also need to create a straightforward marketing plan for your business. And repurpose your content to be able to set and forget most of it.
