But if you want a slightly more sophisticated way to attract people who want to spend their money and not just fill up your email list/group with freebie-seekers… you need to create content around your offer.

You need to stand out. In the sea of sameness. Without being too obsessed.

I know, I know, there’s nothing unique about what I just typed. You already knew this.

So, buckle up because I’ll give you a few tips to be able to speak with prospective high-ticket clients (and in my book high-ticket offers are something between 8k to 100k).

Because, when I post actual posts (I’m not talking about posts I use to build connections and engage with you guys) I get leads immediately. Yes, high-ticket leads which I can decide to work with or not.

I do not message them or promise them the 6-7-8-9 figure business in a blink of an eye either.

Shall we just jump to the tips? 😊

Dun dun duuun, tip number 1

DO NOT CREATE CONTENT JUST TO BE VISIBLE.

S***e content is still s***e content. Being visible does not mean that people want to see what you type/record. And it doesn’t mean they want to/will buy from you ever…

OK, clever clog, but I don’t know what to post about. I hear you.

You have an offer, write content around that. What do people need to know before they buy your offer? Are there any pre-requisites? Can you educate them on that?

For example, for my offer (in a nutshell I help my clients increase their profit whilst reducing their working hours), they need to be service providers (coaches and consultants are in this category too).

They need to know their target audience and already selling their offers.

Why? Because you CANNOT optimise a business model to increase profit if you don’t have sales. You know, it’s not a ‘business’ as of yet without clients…

Because you CANNOT pinpoint the uniqueness of your offer, yourself and your business without already having worked with clients. You’re going to change your biz tons of times when you start out.

Because you CANNOT create content that converts without knowing who you sell to and what you’re selling.

And if you’re not clear, chances are your content won’t be either.

Tip number 2

BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO EXPRESS YOUR OPINION.

Do you want to be seen as someone who knows their stuff?

Challenge the status quo. I mean, I clearly did it with this post as this is the type of post you can see a lot nowadays.

On purpose, I post sometimes controversial posts (nothing nasty or offensive) for multiple reasons. By doing this I can block all those people who are nasty, swearing at me or just annoying trolls.

Because they will come and they will comment.

Easy to identify them and get rid of them from my life so I don’t need to see their negativity or nastiness (you’re welcome for the extra tip)

We’re encouraged to use ‘viral posts’ and don’t take me wrong those can be really-really valuable for you. Although, it all has its place in your content strategy.

I use viral posts but not for selling high-ticket offers. And yes, people copy my posts and use the same without even changing the emojis.

Will they stand out with that? No.

Have those posts been designed to sell high-ticket offers? No.

Do I sell high-ticket offers? Yes, I do.

If you want to be seen, you need to do things differently. Some will work, some won’t.

But you need to experiment.

To give you some ideas; what can you say it’s a myth of your industry? How can you show that thing is actually false? Post about that to show your authority (meh, it’s an overused word).

How about truths of your industry that are false or don’t work anymore. Or, even better, don’t work for your ideal clients? You can write about that too.

Tip number 3

TO GET HIGH-TICKET CLIENTS USE BUYER PSYCHOLOGY

High-ticket clients are more sophisticated than jumping on viral threads. They don’t believe that a one-page freebie in a Google document will turn their business into a 100k/mo business.

“To be able to attract high-ticket clients you need to talk to them based on the stage they are in the decision-making process.”

Which is generally speaking consists of these steps

    1. need/problem recognition
    2. information search
    3. evaluation of alternatives
    4. purchase decision
    5. post-purchase evaluation

But with this move, you would only be able to communicate with a very low percentage of people.

Because at any given point only 3% of your ideal clients are ready to buy.

17% are problem aware and looking for solutions but are not ready to buy.

20% are problem aware but they don’t think the problem requires any solution.

And 60% is absolutely unaware.

So what can you do to move the vast majority of people through your sales cycle as quickly as possible?

Use buyer psychology to move people from the unaware stage to the most aware, ready to buy stage with just a few content pieces.

Yes, I said with a few content pieces.

Yeah, sure… If you say so… 🙄

I hear you. I wrote a dissertation on buyer psychology, I know it’s not as easy to come up with these things by yourself.

    • You need to create content that explains
    • what you’re selling very clearly
    • why they should believe in you
    • why they need your thing like right now (no fake scarcity needed)
      when they can expect results
    • handle objections before they come up
      tell them how they can buy
    • and use buyer psychology to create corresponding content to the following 5 stages (this is what you can use in your nurturing too – you’re welcome)

Unaware – problem aware – solution aware – product aware – most aware.

If you can go through this unaware to most aware list and create multiple content pieces for each of them you are creating a sophisticated content plan.

A content plan that’s designed to sell your offer.

And these were my 3 tips to be able to speak with prospective high-ticket clients (and in my book high-ticket offers are something between 8k to 100k).
